TESL Toronto is a non-profit organization of educators and specialists in the field of English as a Second Language (ESL) and English Literacy Development (ELD). We are an affiliate of TESL Ontario and we were founded in 1976.
TESL Toronto's mandate is to support professional development in Toronto; to represent Toronto issues and concerns to the provincial organization, TESL Ontario and liaise with other TESL Ontario affiliates. We also provide a forum for professional communication through various media, including the TESL Toronto Newsletter, website and e-mail.
