Ongoing Business
 COMMITTEES
The TESL Executive Board consists of committees that undertake the planning
of various events and initiatives such as organizing conferences
and workshops, submission of newsletter articles, website
design. The committees actively meet, plan and organize as
well as report to the executive monthly. Members are welcome
to participate in their interested event.
- NEWSLETTER
COMMITTEE
Produces three electronic newsletters a year (Winter, Summer, Fall). The committee
is responsible for content, editing/layout and production.
- CONFERENCE
COMMITTEE
Plans two conferences a year (Spring & Fall). The committee chooses presenters,
arranges location and caterer, develops and mails flyers, updates the website with relevant information, and coordinates volunteers.
- STRATEGIC PLANNING COMMITTEE
Establishes direction and sets goals for long and short-term
planning for the executive. The committee revises by-laws
as needs arise.
- WEBSITE COMMITTEE
Provides direction and vision for the web site and makes regular updates.
EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETINGS
The executive board meets once a month. Please contact our president Karen
